Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy outlines the conditions and procedures for returning shipments and receiving refunds on OneParcel’s local delivery, domestic shipping, and international shipping services within India. It’s important to note that return and exchange decisions ultimately depend on the seller’s approval. OneParcel fulfills the logistics of returns but has no role in determining the seller’s return policy.

1. Seller Return Policy

  • It’s crucial to review the seller’s return policy before making a purchase. This policy will outline the conditions under which the seller accepts returns, including:
    • Eligible reasons for return (e.g., incorrect item, damaged item, change of mind)
    • Timeframe for initiating a return request
    • Return shipping costs

2. OneParcel’s Role

  • OneParcel facilitates the return process by providing a platform to submit return requests and arranging shipment pickups.
  • We will communicate with you throughout the return process, keeping you updated on the status of your return.

3. Return Process:

  • To initiate a return request, you must contact Seller customer support within 5 days of receiving the shipment.
  • We will then guide you through the process of submitting a return request to the seller which will take 5-7 working days.
  • Once the seller approves your return request, OneParcel will provide instructions on how to return the shipment.
  • You are responsible for securely packaging the item for return and ensuring it reaches the designated location within the specified timeframe.

4. Return Shipping Costs:

  • The seller’s return policy will determine who is responsible for return shipping costs.
    • In cases of incorrect, damaged, or defective items, the seller may cover return shipping.
    • For other reasons (e.g., change of mind), the seller’s policy might state you are responsible for return shipping charges.

5. Refund Process:

  • Once the seller receives the returned item and verifies its condition, they will initiate a refund according to their return policy.
  • This may involve a full refund for the purchase price (excluding original shipping charges) or a store credit.
  • Refund processing times depend on the seller and your payment gateway within 5-7 Working Days.

6. Non-Refundable Items:

  • Similar to the seller’s return policy, some items might be non-refundable, including:
    • Items that are used, opened, or damaged due to customer negligence
    • Perishable items, customized products, and downloadable digital products

7. Exceptions:

OneParcel reserves the right to deny return requests if:

  • The return request is submitted outside the timeframe specified by the seller.
  • The returned item is not in its original packaging or condition.
  • The return is due to reasons beyond our control or the seller’s responsibility (e.g., incorrect address provided).

1. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel a shipment booking at any time before the pickup has been attempted by the carrier agent.

Before Pickup

100% of the shipping fee is refunded instantly to your Oneparcel Wallet.

After Pickup

Cancellation is not possible once the shipment is in transit. RTO charges will apply if returned.

Role of Oneparcel: Please note that all pickups for products sent through us are initiated strictly upon the seller's request via the dashboard. Oneparcel acts solely as an aggregator to relay this request to the carrier. We do not schedule or enforce pickups without direct action from the seller.

2. Wallet Refunds

We operate on a prepaid wallet model. Funds added to your Oneparcel wallet are generally non-refundable to your bank account and are meant for shipping consumption.

2.1 Account Closure

In exceptional cases, if you wish to close your account, you may request a refund of the unused balance (excluding promo credits/cashback). This is subject to:

  • A deduction of 5% processing/gateway fee.
  • Account being free of any pending weight disputes or RTO charges.

3. Lost or Damaged Shipments

In the unfortunate event of a lost or damaged shipment, refund claims are processed as follows:

  • Uninsured Parcels: Maximum refund liability is limited to ₹2,000 or the invoice value, whichever is lower.
  • Insured Parcels: Refund up to the declared insured value, subject to carrier investigation and approval.

Mandatory Proof for Damage Claims

To process any claim for damaged goods, a proper unboxing video is mandatory. The video must meet the following criteria:

  • The video must start before opening the package.
  • The shipping label must be clearly visible and legible in the video.
  • The video must be continuous (360-degree view) without any cuts or edits.

*Claims without a valid unboxing video will be summarily rejected.

Carrier Discretion: Please note that the final decision regarding the validity of a damage claim and liability depends solely on the carrier company (FedEx, Delhivery, etc.) and their internal investigation. Oneparcel acts as a facilitator and cannot override the carrier's decision regarding damage attribution.

Note: Claim requests must be raised within 24 hours of delivery status update.

4. RTO (Return to Origin) Charges

If a shipment is returned to origin due to customer refusal or non-delivery, the shipping charges are not refundable. Additionally, RTO charges (usually equal to the forward shipping cost) will be deducted from your wallet.
